Arkitekten 05/2026 features the theme Houses for Culture and Communication, which will unfold across several issues.
In Section 1, we present a contribution to the ongoing series Praxis on Practice, following two architecture students who built a classroom in Tanzania. We also introduce a new recurring series on AI and its implications for architectural practice.
Section 2 presents cultural buildings from across Denmark in a feature article, alongside an essay on the value of well-executed cultural architecture.
In ANNEX, we visit a pavilion in the King’s Garden that has been transformed into an exhibition space for the Royal Danish Collection.
Section 3 focuses on facades. Read an interview with the architects behind the renovation of Sofiegården, alongside articles on plinths and foundations.

Arkitekten 05/2026 har temaet Huse for kultur og kommunikation, som udfoldes over flere udgivelser.
I sektion 1 bringer vi et bidrag til føljetonen Praksis om Praksis om to arkitektstuderende, der har opført et klasseværelse i Tanzania. Vi introducerer desuden en ny føljeton om AI og dens betydning for arkitektfaget.
Sektion 2 undersøger kulturbyggerier fra hele landet i en tværgående artikel og rummer desuden et essay om værdien af vellykkede kulturbyggerier.
I ANNEX besøger vi en pavillon i Kongens Have, som er blevet omdannet til udstillingsrum for Den Kongelige Samling.
Sektion 3 har fokus på facader. Læs et interview med arkitekterne bag renoveringen af Sofiegården samt artikler om sokler og fundamenter.
