Distinguished architects from seven European countries will discuss the position and potential of women in architectural practice as well as feminist architecture and urban planning. They will draw on examples from their own professional practice and their extensive experiences in the field of architecture. The debate will be moderated by Anne Romme, associate professor at Royal Danish Academy, School of Architecture.

Panelists:
Anna Maria Indrio (IT/DK) is an Italian architect living and working in Denmark. For a quarter of a century, she was partner in C.F. Møller, one of Scandinavia’s leading architectural firms. Here she was responsible for award-winning buildings both in Denmark and abroad, e.g., the expansion of the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen.
Anne Labroille (FR) is an architect and urban planner specialized in sustainable and inclusive urban development projects. She is a lecturer in the master’s programme of urban planning at Paris Nanterre University. Very committed to equality and gender issues, she has co-founded the association Mémo – Movement for equality in project management.
Hilde Daem (BE) is co-founder, in 1975, of Robbrecht en Daem architecten. Their wide-ranging international portfolio comprises architecture and infrastructure projects as well as interiors and landscapes. Their architectural vision in terms of colour, measurements and materials is highly idiosyncratic, but also engages in a dialogue with the surrounding context.
Martin Jasper (DE) is Founding Director of Jasper Architects with offices in Berlin, Vienna, and Buenos Aires. The projects of Jasper Architects integrate innovative design ideas, extensive research of the given local context, and smart sustainable technology solutions. Martin Jasper is a member of the advisory board of the network Diversity in Architecture.
Silja Tillner (AUT) is Principal of Tillner & Willinger Architects. This Viennese firm works on urban development master plans, residential and office buildings as well as cultural projects. The office is known for a holistic design process and a special focus on sustainable design concepts based on respect for environment and ecological issues.
Tina Gregoric (SL) is Principal of the Ljubljana-based architecture studio dekleva gregoric architects, co-founded with Aljosa Dekleva in 2003. Their architectural approach is based on the concept of “research by design” and “design by research”. Tina Gregoric is also professor of architecture and head of department at the University of Technology in Vienna.
Yalda Pilehchian (DK) is a senior urban designer at Henning Larsen Architects. She focuses on developing visions and strategies for cities, municipalities and ministries as well as translating the visions to design frameworks for lively and socially sustainable cities. In her work, she aims at bridging the gap between architecture, urban planning and social sciences.

Anne Romme (DK) is an architect and associate professor at the Royal Danish Academy, Architecture. Her work ranges from theoretical inquiries into the commons in architecture to artistic research dealing with ideas of utopia, experimental drawing, model building and digital fabrication. She also runs a design and architecture practice in collaboration with the artist group N55.
