Cancelled: “Who is the Architect?” Discussion, Exhibition and Celebration of Imaginary Logo Proposals

What does a logo for the Danish Association of Architects look like in 2022? This is what we asked in the the “Open call – “Who is the Architect?” in April.

At this event we will host a presentation of the submitted proposals and an open conversation in regards to the current status of the logo versus where the new proposals aim towards. Are there any recurring tendencies across the logos? What role does a logo play in the current and future positioning of the association? Is there space for more representation? Is it a matter that lays foundation in relation to current and future generations of architects?

For the collective discussion we will be joined by a multifaceted panel that amongst others will include Cecilie Kiilerich (Urban Creators), Kristian Bøjlund (e-Types), members from Building Diversity og Diversity & Equality Platform.

The entrance is open and welcomes everyone interested. We will try to carry out the conversations both in English and Danish, so we include as many people as possible.

There will be drinks and snacks served for everyone who would like.

Hvordan ser et logo for Arkitektforeningen ud anno 2022? Det spurgte vi om, I et open call med titlen “Whos is the Architect” I April.

Kom og vær med, når vi diskuterer og fejrer de indsendte forslag til et imaginært nyt logo for Arkitektforeningen onsdag den 25. maj kl. 17:30 i foreningens lokaler i København.

Til arrangementet præsenteres vi får de indkomne forslag og vi skal i fællesskab snakke om hvilke retninger og perspektiver, det eksisterende logo og de nye forslag peger mod. Er der gennemgående træk, som peger i nogle retninger for logoerne? Hvad betyder et logo i foreningens nuværende og fremtidige positionering? Er der plads til bredere repræsentation? Spiller det ind i forhold til fundamentet for nutidige og fremtidige generationer af arkitekter?

Til den fælles diskussion får vi selskab af et multifacetteret panel, som blandt andet inkluderer Cecilie Kiilerich (Urban Creators), Kristian Bøjlund (e-Types), medlemmer fra Building Diversity og Diversity & Equality Platform.

Arrangementet er gratis og åbent for alle interesserede. Vi vil forsøge at lave arrangementet tosproget på både engelsk og dansk, for at inkludere så mange som muligt.
